I am in a relatively new role working in a factory with many layout drawings of the site including fire systems, hack drawings, underground services and drainage ect..
In the past no one had control of these drawings which has caused problem with updates ect.
When the factory map gets an update e.g. new building currently every map has to be updated individually.
I preferably want to be able to have one map of the factory linked to each drawing so when i update this it changes all my drawings.
1. I preferably do not want to layer each service as this leads to a lot of layers.
2. I want to be able to send the DWG to someone without it corrupting the file.
3. I want to be able to folder the drawings in separate locations.
Is this possible or what would your recommended approach be?
