hatches and system variables

hi!

I have a problem with my hatches... and I can't find wich variable is involved...

I started helping on a project in metric. at first glance I have all the same variables set-ups of my co-workers...

measurement = 1

units = decimal

insertion scale = millimeters...

the problem is when hatching or editing hatches, I need to scale them  x25.4...

Is there a variable that prompt CAD to use acad.pat instead of acadiso.pat (or the other way around?)

Could be this:

MEASUREMENT/ MEASUREINIT are the variables. Your file probably started it's life in the wrong setting.

INSERT your problem file into a working template file that has no such issues, EXPLODE, then test it with a new hatch to see if the problem goes away. I suspect it will. SAVEAS and use this new file instead.

@Patchy

Nope... measureinit = 1 at all stations...

Other hints?

How about -DWGUNITS convert it to metric system first.

@Patchy

If I entered something wrong... it didn't work...

3. Millimeters

2. decimal

Linear display format <4> ? what's that?

@pendean

Tried it... not worhing either...

But the new file I used to insert the problem file is a custom made office metric Template with a dwg extension instead of dwt file...

I think I have to change/remove a lot of parameters just to make a new "virgin" drawing...

Use qselect, isolate hatches and change the scale, see if it changes anything.
