Hatch vertices disappeared, can't edit hatches (acad 2018)

Hi there. I'm using Autocad 2018. I used to be able to move hatches by selecting the hatch and dragging the points to whereever I wanted. Out of the blue, I suddenly stopped being able to do that and I don't know the reason. Instead of displaying the grips, I only see a blue dot in the middle that allows me to drag the hatch, but not change its shape as the grips are not available.

I have tried to change GRIP to 0, 1 and 2 but it doesn't go back to normal. It is also not related to assotiative or non-associative.

Can someone please enlighten me? Thanks in advance!

This is because you have an Associative hatch !! 

Depending on your info .. can we have a hatch sample ( CAD dwg file ) for testing please ?
