Hi,

i think that it's a zoom limits problem . try to put your needed hatch area zoomed in the screen and by minimum lines information ( turn off all unwanted layers ) and see if any changes.

Hi @Anonymous,

I see that you are visiting as a new member to the AutoCAD forum. Welcome to the Autodesk Community!

I agree with Imad that you are likely seeing this message because you have so much turned on that the boundary detection is having issues.  Try freezing everything except the boundary lines for the hatch and then try to apply it.  If you would like to attach the hatch pattern and your drawing file, i am happy to try it on my computer too.

Those tree-like symbols look like SKETCH items.
That alone will tax the command.

Thank you a lot for your answer !!!

FInally i found the solution. Maybe it was about a zoom problem. I runed off all the layers and in the end it worked!!

Thank you :cara_con_una_leve_sonrisa:

Thank you for your answer !!!

No the problem was with the rectangle behind the box message !!! But maybe the many layers confused it !!

Now it works!

Thank you !!

Sometimes if I have a big area that I want to hatch, so I can't zoom in far enough to exclude all the extra data. Instead of freezing a bunch of layers I just draw a few construction lines across the area I'm trying to hatch. Then I can hatch it in a few sections so I can zoom in tighter to avoid extra calculations for the hatch command. I then just delete my extra lines. It seems to help with areas I can't seem to get hatch to work correctly on. I have a lisp that combines the separate hatches back into one also. I don't really need to combine them but sometimes I do just to make the drawing neater.
