Hatch pattern creation help needed

I wan this hatch to be created. I have tried all common AI but everything has failed. Please can someone help me on this?

That looks possible.  But about the apparently rounded corners of the 45°-angled squares in the centers of the hexagons, Hatch patterns can only have straight lines, so any "curve" must be made of multiple short line segments.  Would it be acceptable to not round those corners, like this?

That would be the easiest to define.  They can easily enough be simply chamfered if that will do at the scale of use of the pattern:

or they could be "rounded" with, for example, three line segments to turn the corner:

How much does the rounding of the corners matter, if at all?

For example, the TEST pattern definition in the attached TEST.PAT file [you'll have to un-Zip it -- the site doesn't allow attachment of .PAT files] makes this:

It will need to be longer if you want the squares' corners chamfered or "rounded."

 

The hexagon edges are 1 drawing unit long when used at a scale of 1.  The origin is in the middle of a 45°-angled square / middle of a hexagon.

 

You will probably want a different pattern name.  If you leave it in a file of its own, make sure the file name [minus the .pat filetype ending] exactly matches the name of the pattern inside the file.

OMG! I couldn't express how thank I am Mr. Cooper. I have been creating this hatch for almost one year using AI but I couldn't succeed. Many thanks to you. If you may shall I ask how to edit this file to get chamfered/Round edges as you mentioned in the above comment?

Where can I learn how the .PAT file code/Lines work? I have been wanting to learn it for a very long time. How to read the .PAT file too? 

Can I get your mail ID too?

 

Sorry for too many questions at a time, I am just excited to see this hatch work. Once again thank you so much Mr. Cooper.

You would need to choose whether you want them chamfered [which will involve 4 more lines of definition] or "rounded" [12 more if rounding is by three short line segments].

Help should always be your first resource.  >Here< is where to start.  [That's for Acad2025, but it won't be any different from earlier versions.]

Just because of the challenge of working it out, I've been picking away at this.  The new attached TEST.pat file now does this:
