Hatch loop issue

I have a Non associative hatch filled with the pattern CONCRETE_GROUT.

The boundary is formed out of ACePolygon and some graphics present in ViewPort.

When i tried to edit the Hatch pattern to ANSI31. The fill got splitted into two pieces.

To make sure that the boundary is an opened loop, I applied soild fill. But couldnt see any solid fill on it.

Please let us how AutoCAD is able to apply hatch to an open boundary?

Hi,

as seen from below image the issue related to scale factor. so if you enter proper scale factor you will not notice error in the hatch.

EDIT :

the way you're working will make this errors appeared especially when treat a 3D as 2D as you did.

Thanks for the reply Smiley Happy

Could you please let me know how the hatch was created?

I am trying to delete the existing hatch entity and want to create a new hatch.

Hatch using internal point: When i am selecting the internal point for hatch, the hatch pattern is appearing over the entire view-port.

Hatch using Internal point.JPG

Hatch using boundary: In the layout tab i can select only the Ace polygon entity , while the other three lines appearing in red color are not allowable for selection.

I am wondering how that hatch was created.

Hi,

i'm glad that you're now understand the issue .

>> I am wondering how that hatch was created <<

for me ... i think that he draw lines or polylines over the red lines then he hatch it. believe me if your case is only how to hatch this area do it as i mention it.

i know that this is not the proper way BUT this is the way when you treat with 3D model.

also you have to know that there is an items added over viewport ansd the others inside viewport and this is explain why you can select some items but others you can not.

all respect and good luck..
