hatch dialog box not showing up

I use Autcad 2020 LT, all of a sudden my hatching dialog box is not showing up, I've tried to set HPDLGMODE at 0 ,1  , and 2.

there wasn't a problem last week, not sure what I did or why it's an issue now.

Hi,

Set HPDLGMODE to 1 and then type in HATCH, now press ALT+spacebar and then "M" now press arrow key left/right and move your mouse.

Do you have the dialog box now?

Hi,

Does AutoCAD become unresponsive when type in type in HATCH and enter? and then back to normal when you hit escape? If yes then try the above said procedure to bring the dialog box back to view.

If not try using Freeware SCREENCAST to record your screen and show us what is going on your end, so that we can help you.

Hi,

You must press Alt+space with AutoCAD as the active window(in the screencast you are doing when browser is active)

Follow this: type in the command " HATCH" now press alt+spacebar and then "M", now press arrow left/right key(not up/down key) and then move your mouse.

Ever used more monitors?

The dialog is just off-screen.

Use the method described in msg 2. Be patient. Hold the arrow for a while.

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong,

I type hatch, then I hit alt and spacebar at the same time then I type m, then I hit the left or right arrow bottom, i move my mouse and nothing seems to happen? do I hit enter after each command?

Type STYLE and practice the method on the visible dialog.

Hi,

See if this helps: Dialog windows do not display in an Autodesk application

I have also made the screencast of how to get back the lost window. Hope it helps.

I've tried the arrow key in both directions for at least one minute each, does it matter which direction I choose, with the box just work it's way around back to my screen? I did practice with the style command like you said.

I appreciate the help, I've tried this a number of times, it's not working. is it possible that it's so far off screen that I can't bring it back? I've tried moving with just the arrows in both left and right direction for about a minute and I get nothing.

I know this thread is now 5years old.
I was having the same problem when typing H in the command line.
I tried HATCH instead and works fine.
