Hatch background

Is it possible to set a hatch pattern background as another hatch pattern instead of sold colour?

Hi,

No .. It's not applicable. Hatch background used ONLY for adding color to the background of a hatch pattern. You can make a block with your needed shape then use SUPERHATCH (Express Tool) command.

or, not so easy, but the clean way: Create your own hatch pattern.

If you mean the background pattern to be a different color than the foreground one, then making your own pattern definition won't do.  You may have no option but to Copy the Hatch in place and change the pattern of one of them.
