Hi,

>> Anyone knows what's the problem and how to fix it ?

There are two options today:

  • install a newer (or older) graphic card driver
  • wait until Autodesk releases an update with a fix (the inverted colors happened already to some users here so I guess Autodesk is working on that issue)

Sorry for not having better news.

Hi @Anonymous,

I see that you are visiting as a new member to the AutoCAD forum. Welcome to the Autodesk Community!

I am sorry you are experiencing this issue. As @Alfred.NESWADBA, several threads have started recently with this issue.  Can you share some information with me so I can get it to QA?

I would like to know your:

Windows Version (winver)

AutoCAD version (_vernum)

Graphics card make, model and driver version

DirectX Version

Please also take a screen capture of the GRAPHICSCONFIG window.

To give me even more, you could prepare a NFO file for me to examine.

Hi @Anonymous,

It appears that there is a newer driver for your graphics card.

My Windows build is 15063.540 which appears to be slightly newer than yours - I suggest checking for updates to your OS.

If you are willing to take the time, I suggest you remove DirectX12 and put DirectX 11 onto your computer to see if that alleviates the problem.

Please select the Accept as Solution button if my post solves your issue or answers your question.

I checked for updates and it shows everything is up to date. Even updated autoCAD to the version released 2 weeks ago. Didn't work !!

Hi @Anonymous,

Thanks for the update. Did you also try removing the DirectX 12 and installing 11 to see if that will help the issue?

So i checked and found a software for updating directX directory. There were some dll files missing. The software filled in those files and now my autocad is working fine.
