Hello, my grit in sketch mode shows rectangles instead of squares. How can I change this (change)?
Thanks, Rodger!

Hi,

follow these steps:

_UCS<ENTER>

_WORLD<ENTER>

_PLAN<ENTER>

_WORLD<ENTER>

If that does not help please let us know which AutoCAD version you are using and upload the drawing that shows this behavior.

That could also be from having a Grid aspect ratio  [i.e. unequal horizontal and vertical spacings].  And that can be either because you have it set in the GRID command, or you have the GRID spacing set to zero [which means it follows the SNAP setting] and you have an aspect ratio in the SNAP setting.  In both SNAP and GRID commands, choose the Aspect option, and make sure the horizontal and vertical spacings are set to equal values.
