Going on my 2nd day of not being able to solve a Super Simple problem

I want to make a loft to follow a path.  When I click on path and select it, the loft disappears and I get an Error Code Number 114024.  For the life of me, I can't figure out how to connect the red and yellow circles.

I'm making my own PAPR respirator and this part will be the air manifold.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

@davidsemail916 ,

Just redraw your circles (see attached drawing).

Can you tell me what is wrong with the circle I drew?

I redrew the circles dozens of times and it still won't work?

I didn't have a problem lofting... then I think I found a way to duplicate the error... but now I cant get it to behave normally again.... I'm intrigued.

edit: nevermind... i stepped too far back in my undo
