From polyhedric/multifaced mesh to polygonal mesh

Hello,

I did a 3D model with Revit2022 and now I have to export it in SAP2000. I exported the Revit file on Autocad and the elements are classified as "mesh poliedrica" (I'm Italian, so i think it is polyhedral/multifaced mesh), but to import elements on SAP i have to transform these elements into "mesh poligonale" (that i think is "polygonal mesh"). I tried to create "polygon mesh" with the "3Dmesh" command, but it's a slow and manually process, so the question is: is there a command that automatically transforms "polyhedral mesh" into "polygon mesh"?

I can attach the file i am wornking in, if someone is avayable to help me.

Hope for your help. Thanks.

Sounds like a REVIT export limitation: not much you can do about it in AutoCAD after the fact.

What did your research show for alternate methods that did not work for you (you ought to be asking fellow REVIT users about it all) https://www.google.com/search?q=REVIT+to+SAP2000+conversion

and "...You should be able to determine your import capabilities from within SAP2000...." https://www.wyzant.com/resources/answers/706492/can-i-export-a-model-from-revit-to-sap2000-if-yes-wh...

EDIT: see your other post in the REVIT forum https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/revit-architecture-forum/from-polyhedric-multifaced-mesh-to-polygonal...
