Within the food industry there is a need to put Square Box Section "on the diamond" namely it is rotated 45deg
This can be notated by a square box that is rotated through 45deg
This notation is used within the annotation.
Unfortunately there isn't a "diamond" character" available.
Can this be corrected.

Hi Duncan,
Which font do you normally use to do this in other applications (outside of AutoCAD)? I found that WINGDINGS and WINGDINGS2 had some shapes that might do this for you in AutoCAD.
Do you have an image of what you are looking for specifically? Perhaps I can help you find something that will work.

In a multi text window if you hit "alt 4" it puts in a solid diamond. ♦

Hi @Anonymous,
That's great that it could be so simple 🙂
If you use the Character Mapping Tool in Windows you can browse through any of your TTF fonts to find a variety of special characters.
You can copy past the diamond symbol from here (♦), and also you can read methods to insert the diameter sign. Click here to read all methods to make diamond icon.
