folding/bending into shape

Hi..i have a 2d drawing that i would like 2 extrude to a 1.5mm (please see attached image} i would then like to fold the flat 3d 1.5mm shape from the dotted lines seen on the picture..how do i go about doing this? i want it to fold something like the image i attached that i found online.. any help would be great..

Hi,

 

PRESSPULL command is your need.start to use this command on simple shape to understand how it's works.then you can start on your 2D shape.this command give different results when select the polyline itself and when pick inner the area between two polyline.

thank you imad for your time and reply..but once pres pulled how can i bend the flat shape..by that i mean bend the 8 outer fawks so they stand vertically..kin of like spiders legs?

if i understand your need... you can by Presspull and offsetedge and Filletedge command manage all of your drawing.i prepare this screencast as a hint to start your drawing.

Maybe drawing the surface, array them to get 8 equal spaces then SLICE the top.
