Hello, I currently have a curved ramp drawn in 2019 AutoCAD. the drawing is a 3 dimensional wooden ramp with a plywood lid and plywood framing. Due to the nature of a curved ramp both the lid and some framing elements needed to be twisted to properly follow the ramp at the same rate on the inside and outside of the curve.
My question is: Is there a way that I can take this 3 dimensional twisted shape and flatten it so that I can have my CNC cut the lid. I have tried the flatten command and noticed that it does not unroll the shape it simply traces what it sees into 2 dimensions.
I have attached a DWG file containing the 3d ramp. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
