flatshot help

Hello

At work i am always creating VERY complex 3D models that need to be flatshotted to create section views.

These models are all set out onto corresponding layers, Is there a way to keep the lines created by the flatshot on the correct layers according to the 3D model?

I currently spend about 2 days a week purely sorting the layers onto the flatshots and is clearly not a wise use of spend my time.

Don't know if this could help.

I wonder the same question but alternative would use section plane and generate a section of the section plane like a flat shot1.PNG2.PNG but you can choose some layers.

Maybe it helps you

Thanks for the reply

unfortunately, as the models we do are extremely complex and large scale, it is not feasible to do the section plane shots.

Flatshot method is the only way forward.
