Are there any settings to lengthen this dimension line?

If you look at the properties of the multileader there should be a landing distance that you can change if you want to only change one leader.

Sorry.  You asked about a dimension, not a multileader.  This thread may clarify.

Hello @jdfnnl

Are you referring to that FLAT distance next to 3'-7" in your uploaded image? If you are, it's determined by the:

<<Offset from dim line x 2>>

Go to Dim Style Manager=>Text Tab=>Text Placement section

@jdfnnl that's called a landing, and there is no setting for it in DIMSTYLE command. Sorry.

Just an FYI.

I'm sure you already know this - you can draw the leader with 3 points.   Allowing you to manually edit the landing (grips or stretch w/text).  Note - this causes much of the standard leader "Linkage" to act differently when moving the landing or text.   Works well if you just need to do this occasionally.  As mentioned - MultiLeaders allow you to set the landing distance.  Cheers!
