Had this problem for years, but never got around to ask. Lets say I have a very narrow and long boundary that I am trying to fill with hatch - if I zoom in enough where I can comfortably click inside the boundary, the whole thing doesn't fit on the screen and Autocad says boundary not found. If I zoom out where the whole thing fits, it becomes almost impossible to click inside it because its so narrow.
Is there a way to override this behavior?
Hi,
usually i took this area alone aside then make hatch . can you attache your narrow and long boundary for testing ?

Hi,
AutoCAD struggles when you using the "Pick" method to Hatch in such situations. So try selecting the boundary objects which you are trying to hatch or use the command "BOUNDARY" to create a new polyline boundary and then select that object to hatch boundary and then later on you can delete the polyline if you are trying to create a non-associative hatch.
