I am having an issue with the FilletEdge command. Instead of smoothing the base of the circular extrusion, it creates the exact opposite.

 Are you trying to soften the top edge?

The fillet will work as expected if that is one solid, if the base and the cylinder are not unioned together you will get unexpected results.
