File size extremely large when saving from dwg to dxf format

When i save a DWG file which is 650kb in size to a DXF format it creates file size of 32MB, extremely large size. How can i reduce the size of DXF file format? Please help with it.

If you use at least AutoCAD 2013 then, try to use Drawing Purge Add-Ins its free.

change into cad format than
wblock,purge ,audit
if size not reduce than use exporttaucad sue it will work

DXF files are uncompressed: that's normal. DXF files bulk up based on what the object types are being exported, and has no relationship to the source DWG file size.

You can ZIP dxf files up to compress them back down to a tiny size if needed for sharing.
