File Selection Dialog Boxes missing detail list option

When I look in my folder for files I like to have the view show details so that I can select the most recent version of a plan.  When I look to see the options the detail option is grayed out and not selectable.  How can I correct this.  Thanks a bunch.

HI,

you can make Details option active by selecting List option then try again to notice that Details now active and List is grayed.the idea is to select the Views option then you can select the others.

Try turning off your preview helps. And then select the details option.

Thanks I can get the detail view to show format looks the same as the list view.  I was wanting it to show the date and time columns.  What else can I do to accomplish this.  Thanks again!

Hi,

In general if detail is selected it should appear like this

Right click on the name palette and tick the date, size and the other option as in the display. You will get the required results.
