File Naming Conventions in Publishing

Is there anyway to control the automatic file naming of published pdf sets in AutoCAD? I.E. I would like to include the file name_ delete the layout name _ and add a suffix (rev3) etc. I need to be able to do this when I publish the drawings all in one shot without any manual entries as it is for a large set. Also I cannot manually change the layout tab to be the rev# as this is to much manual work. Looking for batch options similar to what you can do in bluebeam, but native in AutoCAD. Thanks.

Not in PUBLISH, but if you use SSM you can do much more, including the rev numbers.

Thanks for the response.  I have been playing with the SSM and am still getting the default file names which include the layout name.  Where is the option to exclude that from the naming conventions.  Thanks.
