I know that autocad has files for creating user linetype (.lin) and user hatch (.pat)

is there such a file to create dimstyles?

No .. there is no such a file. BUT you can prepare one and save it as .dwt file .

Dimstyles are an named set of system variables, so there are no "Files" for that (except you mean normal files format DWG DXF  DWS DWT)

One special thing: The dimension ARROW, thats a BLOCK

You can can create a dwg which present the blockdefinition and you can insert a DWG "as Block".

But i am sure thats noch what you help or why you asking for.

Create your dimension-styles in a template (DWG / DWT), so you can transfer your styles per Mail, Stick and so on.

You can import them whith DesignCenter (DC) or as DWT

you can start a new file based on this DWT.

But you can not redefine a existing dimstyle by this ways, that is possible with a DWG oder DWS as Standard-File for command STANDARDS.

And now: What you really want to know?

i wanted to make my ordinate dimension more visible.

particulair the  zero point.

in the company it happens to much that they use move instead of stretch.

as you can see in the attachment in the red circle there is a little dot.

i wanted to make that dot more visible in i was thinking a line or something so you can see it has been moved.

instead of selecting everything and see were the grippoints are.
