Field Value Based on a Block Location

I am not sure if this is possible but I figured I would give it a try.

I will start out by explaining my situation.

I am in Landscape construction and I am trying to link surfacing key (shows which page that surface detail can be found on) to the page number the detail can be found on.

For example I have SOD in my layout page. I have a call out leader that shows it is  1/DT.1   meaning it is detail 1 on page DT.1   Is there a way to have the call out leader automatically put in 1 / DT.1 when I insert my sod detail in slot 1 of DT.1?

Hi @dave,

I see this question from time to time but I am not sure that I really have a ready answer.  Can you provide a sample of how you are working?  Do you use sheetsets with Callout blocks?

I don't have a specific sample yet, I am re-building our technical process now and though of this as an idea.

Once I start to flush it out more I can post sample. I was just curious if this is something that is out there in the AutoCAD world before I started my process.

I currently do not use Callouts. I will look into those. Thanks
