Fatal Error

Hi,

most of the time this error "FATAL ERROR: Unhandled Access Violation Reading 0x25e8 Exception at 3259aa38h" shown in the screen, and after that AutoCAD shutdown automatically and I lost all the unsaved work too. can any one please help me.

Does AutoCAD also crash when you use an AutoCAD profile which does not load CADWorx?

Can you start command _ABOUT and show us the screeshot from that dialog?

Also please let us know

• which graphic card and driver you are using (command _GRAPHICSCONFIG ==> screenshot)
• if the crashes also happen when you have hardware acceleration off (same command: _GRAPHICSCONFIG)
• how often does AutoCAD crash and does it crash only on some specific drawings

CADWorx is causing problems. Perhaps Service Pack for CADWorx will solve this problem? Look on the web latest official and compare your version (check it using CADWORXABOUT command).

I suggest to do the follow on the CAD file that always Fatal error appeared:

• Command Audit .
• Command Purge ( Regapps ).

Command: -PU -PURGE
Enter type of unused objects to purge [Blocks/DEtailviewstyles/Dimstyles/Groups/LAyers/LTypes/MAterials/MUltileaderstyles/Plotstyles/SHapes/textSTyles/Mlinestyles/SEctionviewstyles/Tablestyles/Visualstyles/Regapps/Zero-length geometry/Empty text objects/Orphaned data/All]:r

also be sure that these boxe in purge dialog are selected (see below image)

the previous procedures must be always be done even to the attached xref files (if any).

i don't know that is that the solution but i just update the Graphic card
driver, so the error is not come again
