Hi,

I receive this fatal error message when trying to access the properties after hatching?  AutoCad Version 2007, anyone have a fix?  I can Hatch the area fine but when I go into properties, into the area section to calculate the square footage this message comes up and it closes.

Any help is appreciated.

So this is a sudden new problem in ALL files?
Or did it just happen once, or is limited to only one file?

2007 is over a decade old, so something recently changed or the problem simply is you need to fix your file: explain when you get a chance.

TIA

HI,

It suddenly happened  about 2 months ago on  a single file and then  has happened on every file I  have tried to hatch since. A co worker has the same issue.  There doesn't seem to be any issues with the files I just get this error message.

Hi,

besides that I won't work based on DXF files (as saving and opening needs much more time and is not that safe) ... which operating system do you have installed (or what changed on your system 2 months ago)?

Are you still running Windows7, or Windows8, or Windows10? The last two would be the wrong answer :cara_de_decepción:

Things to try are numerous, start with the posts here from "knowledgebase.autodesk.com" https://www.google.com/search?q=autocad+crashes+when+using+hatch+command
