Fatal Error: Unhandled Access Violation Reading 0xffffffff Exception de03aa0fh

We have been having the problem with someone in our office recently. I have been trying some other fixes like clearing the graphics cache, but that does not seem to fix the issue. The full error is the following:

FATAL ERROR: Unhandled Access Violation Reading 0xffffffff Exception at de03aa0fh.

I am not sure what is causing the problem, but how he can replicate it sometimes is going into a different window on his machine/desktop (like selecting Outlook for instance) and when he clicks back into the ACA 2015 window he gets the FATAL ERROR and the program crashes.

Does anyone know what could be causing this?

Thank you for the response John,

I have tried all but making a new User Account. I will have to spend some time testing this to see if it works, but currently the rest of the fixes have not seemed to make much of a difference.

I will update this post if the user account fix works.

Hi @Anonymous,

Thanks for the update. Is this user having the problem on all drawings? Or, just specific ones?

You are welcome to attach a sample file for me to investigate.

The error only seems to happen when he clicks over to another window. He will go from working in AutoCAD and then click on a window in Outlook to reply to an email and his AutoCAD experiences a FATAL ERROR. Not sure what the correlation is between these two programs are, but I cannot seem to figure out why it is doing it,
