I keep getting this error whenever i open AutoCAD 2017:

FATAL ERROR:  Unhandled Access Violation Reading 0x0000 Exception at 745b94d4h

It does open without any problems sometimes but mostly it closes instantly when i open it up.

HI @Anonymous,

I see that you are visiting as a new member to the AutoCAD forum. Welcome to the Autodesk Community!

Is this happening in specific files? If so, you might need to do some maintenance on them such as AUDIT, PURGE, and -Pu>Regapps.

If this happens in any file, it might be worth taking the time to make sure that Windows is up-to-date as well as your graphics drivers.

Is your AutoCAD also fully updated from the Autodesk Desktop App or from your account page?

If you like, you can send me a NFO file which will tell me a bit about your computer configuration.

If your data needs to be private or confidential, please email it directly to me at john.vellek@autodesk.com and please include a link to this thread in your email.

Please select the Accept as Solution button if my post solves your issue or answers your question.

Hi @Anonymous,

Is this issue still happening on your computer?  If so, please provide me with some more details so I can try to help get this resolved.

hello, what else we can do? do you have enough harddisk space in your computer? have you install the latest updates from autodesk? have you install latest updates of your graphics card driver? or try to untick hardware acceleration from options and see if helps. thanks
