Faint lines when plotting to PDF & Industrial printer

Hi

I have created a technical training manual for my company. After plotting to PDF, everything looks perfect when I open the PDF file, however, when I send the file to colleagues, most of the lines are very light and not the same as what I see in my PDF viewer(Adobe Acrobat Reader DC).

Also, I have tried getting the manual printed externally, but the lines come out as almost non existent. Yet when I print it with the printer at work, again, it looks perfectly fine. The printing company just can't get the lineweights the way I want it. Is there something I need to do differently?

Has anyone else had this problem? Please help.

Hey @RobertMyb ,

I would suggest they check printing mode. It may be set to fast draft, this printing mode conserves ink and my be the reason why. So check your setting against the printer setting of the people you have sent the document to. Hope this helps.
