failure while filleting

when I try to use the command filled edge to the head of my hammer with a radius of 0.1. Autocad throws me a message like it:  "Could not find acceptable sequence of capping faces to trim blend face.
Failed to perform blend.
Failure while filleting."

Hi,

First thing I notice is that you have a mixture of surfaces and solids.  Pick your poison here.  I'd recommend solids.

I'll work on it a little and post again later.

Hi @Anonymous,

I didn't have a problem getting the fillet to work when I realized there was a a small edge that needed to be selected too.

I can't convert your existing surfaces to solids.  Tried to apply patch surfaces to close them.  I notice a gap in your existing handle surface "seam".

I think you wish to have the .1 fillet between the hammer head and handle but you need a more accurate surface or solid.  The central and claw portion of the head is already a solid.  The hammer face side is a surface that I cannot change to solid.

Once you create a good solid via loft or other techniques you should have no trouble Union-ing the components, then Fillet-ing them.
