Failure to launch

I have downloaded the free trial for AutoCAD 2016.  I had dozens of files on my C: drive but no idea how to launch the software to begin the tutorial.

Hi,

>> I have downloaded the free trial for AutoCAD 2016.  I had dozens of files on my C: drive but no idea how to launch the software to begin the tutorial.

Let's start at the point: Let is know where you are ...

  • You have downloaded something and now you want to know how to install the software? (where the installation files are)
  • Or you have already installed the software, but you don't know how to start it?
  • Or your installation was successful, your AutoCAD is running well, and you don't find tutorials? Then start AutoCAD, change (on the bottom area) from "Create" to "Learn" and there are links for you to start learing.

if that is your serial number for your user name, that should be avoided. I have already reported this to the forum admin earlier today - maybe they will take action or maybe they wont.

nevermind then. Appears to be OK to publicly show serial numbers now. My how the world changes.

Forgive me, did you simply lose track of the file you downloaded? Is that what you are asking for help with?
Where did you downlaod the file from?
What is your Windows version?
What is your webbrowser?

Thanks for the help.  I'm currently working with BJ Cates from the Autodesk Support Team.  Apparently the problem has to do with Antivirus software.
