Extrude - object removed from selection set

Hello,

SO I am having this problem that I cannot extrude petals of this flower. I created 1 of the petal into polyline (blue one) and it still gives me "object removed from selection set". Where could this problem be?

That is not all you get ... 😉

In most cases I have trouble with _EXTRUDE I try command _PRESSPULL if that can work with that geometry.

moved the radial lines to a new layer  RadialLines and hid it; set new layer to petals and used bpoly command.   only one of your petals is closed and made a new petal.  that will extrude fine.

it is in the attached drawing

you can extrude and arraypolar that item

there is/are problem(s) in the original line work someplace.

Ok, I have managed to extrude this one petal here, hut now I am having problems creating surface according to these pink splines... I need to create surface before using polar array... Any ideas?

I tried using networksrf command, but it requires two directions. Any ideas how I can define these two directions to make surface?

one way

draw arcs at each end of the petal and loft those with the center profile you provided.  More cross sections can provide more detail.

"with the center profile you provided" you mean that only cross section of  two purple splines? 🙂 I see, i need to create more boundaries(arcs/splines) of this surface, for it to fit to the frame, correct? 🙂
