Not seeing any issues here in R2024 with our own files (no migration from older versions was implemented either, that's often a contributing cause for some folks).

So it has nothing to do with the productversion.

Check your

EPDFSHX

TRANSPARENCYOVERRIDE

Backgroundplot..

Supportfolder(content) of Plotter, plotstyle and pmp files

Export your settings, reset to default, test it again.

I made it! I uninstalled 2024,cleaned up all files related to 2024, and cleaned up registry related to 2024,reininstalled 2024. It is brand new as the first day. Plotting fast as usual.

I have the same problem and can't solve it. Printing takes a lot of time in 2024, with all virtual printers (DWG to PDF, Adobe, PDF creator, etc.), the file is generated quickly but the progress window remains open at 100% for a very long time and blocks Autocad . I tried cleaning all files/folders as described by Autodesk, an installation on another computer with complete cleaning of all Autodesk installations (folders and registry): same thing!
Did you find a solution ?

Did you get a chance to try all the tips above? From your post you might have missed some.

background plotting and publishing also need to be turned off, and your 2024 needs to be at the 2024.1 update level (your AutoCAD's ABOUT command will confirm if you have it or not).

Yes I installed update 2024.1 and background publishing is disabled (I see the publishing window). I also tried with "printed with transparency" disabled but no change...

I also updated my Nvidia driver to a new certified version.

Here is a longer list of items to try from Autodesk (you've tried some of them already) https://www.autodesk.com/support/technical/article/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/plotting-takes-a-l...

I tried all these steps and as it didn't work, I tried uninstalling everything, following the Autodesk advice page with all the folders to be cleaned, but the verdict is still the same. I admit that I don't know what to do anymore.
I think this is another problem, since the creation of the PDF file is done well (I can open the file) and the publication window remains open (loading bar at 100%) before moving on to the next presentation.
I need 32s for an A3 plan compared to 3.7s under Autocad 2023!

Thank you for taking the time, I welcome any idea and if I find I will post my solution which worked for me.
