Exporting AutoCad settings with %userprofile%\

Hi

I am looking to export my Autocad settings to the company and so far using %userprofile%\ has solved 99% of the problems. However when others import the settings, the attached image ( company logo ) does not load in.

When others have loaded in the settings the "Found Path" is blank and the "Saved path" is .. \.. \Logos\QED CAD Logo.jpg

My best guess is either I need to enter the "%userprofile%\" into the "Found Path" prior to exporting my cad settings or I need to make the path "Absolute" and make the found path again %userprofile%\

Screenshots are attached below for clarity.

1) My cad prior to exporting the settings

2) Screenshots from co-workers cad once the cad settings have been imported

Any help is greatly appreciated  many thanks

Have you had a change to troubleshoot it with this list HERE yet?

Also, your screenshot says "loaded", perhaps it got erased (no amount of profile pathing will fix that)

Hey

The link included is helpful although when reading through it the, first solution is to make path "Relative" the attached Logo already had a "Relative" path so I do not believe this is the solution.

The second is to use the "Reference Manager" which I admit is new to me. However then going through the steps I notice this.

When I first add in a drawing by going File -> Add Drawings
The status is "Resolved" the saved path is " ..\..\Logos " and the Found Path is C:\Users\GarethKing\QED\Home\CAD\Logos

I understand that the Saved path having ..\..\logos means that the relative path is to "move" up two folder levels and then follow the specified path. The specified path being the "Found Path"

Now when I change the Saved path to " %userprofile%\QED\Home\CAD\Logos " the status changes to "Found in different Location " Which I would expect as the saved path and the found path now are different.

Am I correct in saying, if I now go "Apply Changes" ( still in reference manager ) When my co-workers open up a CAD template then the Logo will follow the Saved path rather than the Found path?

Please correct me if I am wrong.

Many thanks

Try and find out.

Also, take a look at the suggestion from this link:

Another thing, consider its not a letter drive issue or a folder structure (notice the multiple ...\).
