I am using Autocad 2016 with Windows 10. Export of the drawing to PDF is not allowing access between the 2 users on the computer. Access is referring to open, copy, etc.
When I use EXPORTPDF from User 1, User 2 cannot open or view. The dialog box "You don't have permission to open this file" displays.
If I choose to PLOT DWG to PDF then both users can open the plot file.
The *.dwg file is accessible to both users.
Kind of strange don't you think? If there was a problem with the folder permissions then the DWG and Plotted PDF files would not be accessible to both users. The problem is only with the EXPORTPDF files.
Other files in the same folder created by other programs have no "permission" issues. Example a PDF file created from MS Word can be opened, copied, saved, etc.
