Hello thank you for your answer,

i write a small code and therefore i will need the main informations from the CAD-Drawings of the parts. The parts will be very simple turning or milling parts. But for now I only started with a rectangle (box).

I tried to get the three measurements x,y,z of the box but I already failed with that. I only get useless informations after the export

-> see the excel

My goal is to get all the main informations of a CAD Drawing in a .txt file. For example the biggest diameter, material, length, width, special surface treatment...

Thanks alot

Greets Florian!

hi

i solved your problem with different ways (data extract - lsp -  attout and....)

but  i cant see in the excell the dim value  cell which your object dim must be inserted  in the excel file.

from your cad file i can export those tree dim vale  (89.55  176.1  179.58 ) to excel or a text file

is this which you want?

HI

THIS A SIMPLE WAY WITHOUT LSP AND NONPROFESSIONAL

1-EXPLODE YOUR DIM

2-EXPLODE MTEXT TO TEXT (YOU WILL HAVE MTEXT AFTER EXPLODING DIMENSION)

3- NOW YOU HAVE TEXT OBJECTS TYPE "DATAEXTRACTION "

FLOW THE SCREEN

  1.PNG

AFTER THAT

2.PNG

4- NOW SELECT ALL EXPLODED TEXT (OLD DIM)

YOU WILL HAVE THIS SCREEN

 3.PNG

5-JUST TICK ON TEXT AND THEN NEXT

YOU WILL HAVE THIS SCREEN4.PNG

6-JUST TICK ON VALUE AND THEN NEXT

YOU WILL HAVE THIS SCREEN
5.PNG

6-NOW SELECT THE DESTINATION FILE NAME AND LOCATION 6.PNG

ITS IS DONE

GO AND SEE YOUR SAVED FILE

BUT IF YOU HAVE TO DO THIS EVERY DAY ITS BETTER TO DO IT WITH LSP

LET ME KNOW.

I CAN DO IT FOR YOU

GOOD LUCK

Hello, thanks alot for your answer.

I created a block containing the rectangle with the measurements and i am able to export the block the way you explained it.

Do i need to create an attribute in the block with the values? I dont get the text Button at step 4 and I dont know what you meant with explode dim and text to mtext

Thank you !!

HI

I made that steps  regarding to your drawing (it wasn't a block)

you dont need make a block (just explode the dim 2 times) and follow the steps

but if you have to make a block or att block ,the steps might be different  then send me a file which contains your block and att,....

i have to know  your block information.

i will explain what to do  a.s.a.p

if you like send your file to my direct email (ara.nersesian@gmail.com)

good luck

thanks a lot bro, this is just what am looking for, hopfully this wizard is included in autocad commands, this really does not need any type of LISP routine or VBA Codding.

Thanks again.
