Explode block deleting components inside the block

Hello,

I am trying to explode the blocks in the drawing that is attached below. When I load the file with autocad version(R2010) that is available in our office, the blocks would not just load or removed altogether. When I open the same file in draftsight, I see the blocks but explode command again results in deleting some components of the block. I cant even measure the dimensions of components in that block.

Do you know why this problem occurs and how to solve it?

Your blocks contain ProxyObjects, aka they are from another software or a different variant of AutoCAD that you are not using: that is why they disappear.

Ask the detail creator to "export to autocad" those files for you and explode those details for you instead.
