When I insert a data link into Autocad my text size is smaller than the other drafters when they insert the same table.

Does anybody have a solution? I cannot figure it out..

My table is the one at the bottomMy table is the one at the bottom

Click on the table , highlight all and change it in properties to suit the original, you can also click on each individual line and change it in properties too

also need to check you are using the same table style as the other drafters

You and they are using different defined settings in STYLE command and perhaps even TABLSTYLE settings, instead of both being 100% identical.

Easy to figure out: open heir DWG file and your DWG file and start comparing. Or you can share one of each DWG file here for someone to do exactly that as well.

Let us know.

Excel honors Windows font scaling!  Most likely, you and your coworkers have different percentages set in Windows to accommodate ever increasing screen resolutions.  Your group needs to decide on a common scaler, 100% to 250% and set all workstations to that, then reboot.

Compare:
- STYLE
- TABLESTYLE > CELL STYLES > TEXT (TAB) > TEXT HEIGHT
- View Scales - You both using 1:1 or another?
- PROPERTIES

Just to throw another wrinkle in to this, what is your screen resolution on the different stations?  We found out years ago that the screen resolution of the computer printing the files made a difference in the size and quality of OLE objects in Autocad.

This is why we abandoned using OLE objects in ACAD.  Linked tables are superior and only take a few seconds to set up if  you have a solid workflow.

This was our problem. One workstation at 125% when all others were at 100%
