I have had to replace the hard drive of my computer and am trying to re-activate Autocad. Where do i get a case number from?

what version of Autocad?

depending on the version Autodesk may not give you an activation code

For old (no-longer supported) versions of AutoCad (with a permanent license), for which you need to do an activation, you will need to contact AutoDesk support. Only they can manually activate your software.
