I am currently using AutoCad Mechanical 2015 .When I double click accoreconsole.exe it encounters an error. ERROR: Something went wrong. ErrorStatus=53. I just downloaded 2016 yesterday and am getting the same issue. Any ideas?

Hi,

We have seen this on a couple of users and in both instance a clean uninstall and reinstall of the software only fixed the issue.

Would you be able to test the above workflow. I do understand the inconvenience and I would like to apologize for requesting to do the reinstall but it is the best approach for this issue at the moment.

Thanks for your response. We have not fully gone to 2016 yet. When we do I will do a clean install at that point to test if that fixes it.

Sure. Is there something I can help you with for the time being. If not, please post a reply if you see a similar problem once you deployed 2016. We will be more than happy to help you here.

Hello guys,

Any update about this issue?

Because I have AutoCAD 2018 and I got the same error 53.

I tried all ways to fix it, but without success.

I already uninstall and reinstall again and the error 53 is the same.

Anybody can help me?

Because an execution of the AutoCAD with acCoreconsole is the only way I have to implement a new program in my company.

Thanks in advance.

I have the same problem with the dwg trueview 2019

I performed the uninstallation and cleaning procedure of the system then I re-installed but the error remained.
How can I solve the problem ?
Thank you

Just want to chime in with the same problem here as well. I've seen this with users running AutoCAD 2017/2018 Architecture and Civil 3D 2017/2018:

Anyone who has a solution to this problem yet?

I kind of solved it, but no thanks to Autodesk.

I fixed it by using /i parameter to open a dwg file in AccoreConsole startup.

/i "C:\AnyFolder\AnyFile.dwg"

Starting accorecosole.exe without ever starting AutoCAD seems to result in an incomplete secondary installation and the dwt files are not prepared correctly.
Once you delete the folder created by the secondary installation and start AutoCAD normally, you can now start accoreconsole.exe.

I removed "C:\Users\name\AppData\Local\Autodesk\C3D 2021" because I'm using Civil3D.

Okay, so I had to update a solution ,which we use AcCoreConsole to process batches of drawings with, for a customer from 2020 to 2023.  They also went from AutoCAD to AutoCAD MEP and ran into ErrorStatus=53.

We found that if we used the MEP Global shortcut to launch AutoCAD, then shutdown, then launched AcCoreConsole it would open to a Command Line.

If we used the MEP as AutoCAD shortcut to launch AutoCAD, then shutdown, then launched AcCoreConsole it would fail with ErrorStatus=53.

I don't like the "it works for XY, but not XYZ" so kept digging.  It ends up being that by default the AutoCAD profile did not have a default drawing (QnewTemplate) defined.  So when AcCoreConsole loaded, it tried to start a blank new drawing (AutoCAD is drawing centric) but couldn't due to no value for QnewTemplate and failed out.

We launched MEP as AutoCAD, defined the QnewTemplate path in options (Files tab > Template Settings > Default Template File Name for QNEW), closed AutoCAD, then launched AcCoreConsole...

and success!
