Error 0015.111

I am receiving a Error 0015.111 code.

When I import my profile from another computer, I was prompted to Re-Activate the software. I entered the Activation Code for the second machine, and I get a Error 0015.111.

Both machines are running AutoCAD 2016.

How can this be resolved?

Hello jorge.pais, and welcome to the Forums!

 

What Operating System are you running?

 

When you say "When I import my profile from another computer" are you actually importing an entire Windows profile from a different system into a new system, or are you migrating custom settings from a previous version of AutoCAD, like below?

START>All Programs>Autodesk>AutoCAD 2016>Migrate custom settings>Migrate from a previous release

 

Just bringing in custom settings from a previous AutoCAD version shouldn't cause any errors.

Hello,
I am running Windows 7 on both machines.
I am migrating my AutoCAD profile (2016) to the new/second machine also
running 2016.

The error is on the new machine?

 

When you started up your new installation of AutoCAD, did you run the program one time first, before importing your old profile?

Yes, the error comes up on the new/second machine.
Yes, we test drove it before I did the import.

2. Does the software start in trial mode?

 

3. Do you have admin permissions, and have you tried to start this software by right-clicking on the desktop icon and use the option "start as administrator"?

 

4. Have you tried to disable antivirus software?

 

5. Do you use proxies or some very restrictive settings in the firewall?

/It has its own code /

/Yes I am Admin permissions /

/no not yet/

Does Desktop Subscription software require an Internet connection to work?

For the initial installation, sign in, and activation, an Internet connection is required. After activation, the software will work offline for up to 30 days. After 30 days, you must connect to the Internet to continue using the software. The software reminds you seven days before you need to connect to the Internet to renew your license. An Internet connection is required to access cloud services.

 

 

From our Installation & Licensing department:

If you don’t have ANY internet access you’ll need to get a “subscription with multi-user access” license. It’s basically the same thing as a network license except it’s subscription-based, so it expires when the subscription ends. Since the license is hosted locally, the software doesn’t require an internet connection to verify the license.
