Enable proxy graphics

There is an error user is getting while trying too open cad files, 

1)New versions of object in thee drawing-saying like enable proxy graphics and then resave drawing, see screenshot 46

2) Autocad Civil 3D- drawings are  in proxy state, additionally all commands are disabled.,, see screenshot 47

Hi,

it shows what happened, your dwg-file was saved by a newer version of Civil 3D.

So these Civil 3D objects were updated and are not accessible any more on older versions of Civil 3D. In Civil 3D there does not exist a save-back strategy (possibility) as you can see in that blog >>>click<<<

My suggestion is to work with the same version of Civil 3D as was used to create or save that dwg-file

If you really need the data in older versions of Civil 3D then open this drawing in the C3D-version that was used to create the dwg, export the data to LandXML (so you get the Civil-specific data into a XML file that can be imported in an older version of AutoCAD) and use command _WBLOCK for all none Civil 3D stuff to get it backwards.
