HI
I Have install CAD in a new system, Its doesn't display any text
I have tried the following steps but still ...
Issue:After opening a drawing in AutoCAD, all the text within it does not display. The text objects are still there and can be selected, but no lettering or other characters is shown.
Solution:Do one or more of the following:
- Enter the STYLES command and look through the text styles to see if fonts are missing. Obtain copies of missing fonts and install them into AutoCAD's font folder (C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD 20xx\Fonts) or within the operating system. SHX and fonts go into the AutoCAD\Fonts folder and TTF fonts go into the C:\Windows\Fonts folder.
Within the Styles window, turn off "Use Big Font" for affected text styles.
Turn off annotation on the text objects. Use the QSELECT command to select all text and then in Properties, change Annotative to 'No' (see Invisible Text [screencast]).
- Add a path to the AutoCAD Fonts folder:
- Open Options and click the Files tab.
- Under Support File Search Path, add:
C:\program files\autodesk\autocad 2018\fonts
Note: Edit this for your version of AutoCAD. - Click OK.
- Change the substitute font (see How to specify an alternate font in AutoCAD).
Thank you In advance
