Editing attribute with multiple tags individually

Editing attribute with multiple tags individually

We have purchased an add on program, AMOD8, which has proved useful in batch editing of attribute blocks on multiple drawings. In the program you identify the block and the attribute tag in a script file. The program then applies the script file to the identified drawing files.

I want to use the program to edit the attributes of revision blocks on a series of drawing.

The problem is that each revision block has multiple tags that are identical such as Revision Number, Date, Etc.

Is there a way to specifically target an attribute from multiple attributes with the same tag?

Even in Lisp programming, there is no way that I know of to edit attribute tags when they are the same, unless you know the specific handle associated with each one, which varies in every drawing.  Have you contacted the developer of this app to see if they have a solution?

If I understand your problem correctly our app JTB BatchAttEdit would be able to work for you. There is a free trial available so you can try first.
