Editable Attributes ...or... not?!

Good morning folks,

I'll get right to the point.  I have a drawing a border with editable attributes, i.e. the title block.  Everything seems to work just fine.  I go to insert it, again, everything LOOKS fine, but when I click on it, it says this block has no editable attributes.

Help?

Please?

Mark

Hi,

I suggest to use ATTSYNC command in your bad block.

Is it a block within a block now? A common mistake when trying to reuse something that's already a block. Explode it once and find out if it remains intact and now editable.

Dean,

It does.

So I basically double blocked it?

Does a single "explode" correct this, or does it affect other things too?   i.e. whenever I get into this situation, is "single explode" the answer?

And yes, now that you've mentioned it, the "block within a block" phrase does sound familiar.

Cheers Dean!

ATTSYNC just told me the same, that the block has no editable attributes - unless I'm using this command improperly, of course...
