Edit Reference Tab missing from ribbon

So I've tried to search for the answer, only to find it in 2018 version.

Clean install of AutoCAD Arch and MEP 2019 on Windows 10. All updates installed. Missing my EDIT REFERENCE section from the ribbon. I did the "merge" from 2017.

Basically if I am in a drawing that contains an xref and I just edit the xref from the drawing, when I was done there was a button you pressed to save the edits to the xref. Now in my 2019 versions, its not there. I'm looking to see how to get it back.

Thanks

Bob

Command: -TOOLBAR
Enter toolbar name or [ALL]: refedit
Enter an option [Show/Hide/Left/Right/Top/Bottom/Float] <Show>: S

You can also find it in the Ribbon, once you have invoked the edit in place command

Hi Bob,

I only have 2015 version but you could try, tools, customize, customize user Interface. Under Command list find the command your looking for and drag it into toolbar listed under Customization in all files.

Hope this helps

If you type REFCLOSE while editing your XREF, what does the commandline say?

Type CUI on the Commandline

In the 'Customizations in All files panel choose:

ACAD -> Ribbon -> Contextual Tab States

See if there is a 'External Reference Selected' with a sub 'External Reference Contextual Tab' is present.

If there is, there migth be a PICKFIRST variable setting off. (Should be set to 1)

If there isn't there is something wrong with your CUIx.
Try to reset the ACAD.CUIX or transfer the Contextual tab from the original ACAD.CUIx: (right click on the ACAD in the list) or try a restore (right click on the ACAD in the list)

C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2019\UserDataCache\en-us\Support
Do not use this one with cuiload. Only to copy to your %appdata% folder when you have to overwrite
