Edit Block Fill Colour

Hello,

I am a new user and have received a floor plan drawing from another firm and cannot find a way to change the white background in the room number block. When printing in monochrome the room number block comes out black. 

In the block editor I can edit the text colour but not the box itself.

I imagine that the background [whatever it is -- 2D Solid?  Hatch pattern?  Wipeout?  3DFace?] is of color 7, which is white on-screen when the background color is not white, but black otherwise and on paper.  In REFEDITing or BEDITing that Block definition, try changing its color to 255, which is the may-as-well-be-white very palest shade of grey, regardless of screen background color, and both on-screen and on-paper.
