I am having issues with my dynamic tool pallet inserts.
I embedded single line and Multi-line attributes with fields and formulas, to produce data for individual components that make up each panel.
When I insert a field, I select formula then right click and add another field inside the formula box.
Then select object. I reference one of my lines from my block then add or subtract to get the value needed.
All values are created without any issues. I am able to close and save the block synchronize block then modify and the table will update. I even went back into block editor and all the values were all calculating correctly. Everything seemed to be working without any issues until I tried to extract data to a table. Some of my object references were lost. Even when I went back into block editor.
All the inserts are all set up the same. Why are some keeping the reference while others are not.
The inserts will also lose their object reference when the drawing is closed. I’m I doing something wrong?
Here are a couple screen casts
Hello @harris,
Please review the "Have You Tried: Work with Attributes in Blocks" then follow the steps outlined in "Have You Tried: Extract Attribute Values from Blocks" for help.
If you continue to have an issue you also have the option to extract attribute information from blocks into a CSV file for use in another application.
Please "Accept Solution" if a reply or replies have helped resolve the issue or answered your question, to help others in the community.

Yes i have explored all of those but none of them worked...
I actually figured it out on my own and now have a working library of inserts for my company where we can export a complete BOM / cut sheet with finish dimensions for our Manufacturing plant. which is all ran by attributes with multiple levels of fields and user parameters.
