dynamic block with menu drop down

Hi I'm trying to build a dynamic block for a plan view of a crane I'm trying to give it a drop down menu that would cover any lengths at a half m(0.5m) increment starting from 4 m to 33 m. I am unsure on how to do that or even how to create that in general. any guidance into this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like a linear parameter tied into a stretch action with a lookup hook.
(33 - 4) x 2 = 58 lookup lines. Are you sure you want to do this?

There is a way to set up a minimum/maximum/increment linear parameter
similar to SNAP (not osnap). I would tie a dimension line to this as part
of the DB and locate on layer Defpoints so it can be seen and not printed.

By far the easiest thing to do would be to make a dynamic block and just use the stretch action on a linear parameter.  You can limit the parameter to any lengths you want and it's an incredibly simple dynamic block.  However, how that works depends on how the longer crane is intended to look (does the angled part stay the same or stretch, do the ends both stretch out as well, or just one end, etc.).

In order to get the best help, reattach your block with what it looks like at one or two more sizes so we can determine the best option for you.
