DXFOUT // Export DXF

Everyone,

Do you know if I can export a DXF for only the selected objects in a DWG?

I have tried to highlight only the geometry that requires a DXF, as the drawing contains "extras," and then invoke the DXFOUT command. But it will export the entire drawing, which is not what I need.

I want to avoid copying the objects to a new drawing file.

Any ideas or help appreciated.

Use wBlock and change the file type.

Hi,

AutoCAD doesn’t allow DXFOUT on selected objects, but WBLOCK → SAVEAS DXF is the cleanest, fastest method.

Thank you!

I didn't realize I could change the file type in WBLOCK. 🙂

My DXFOUT command has the option of selecting the objects to be included, but I am using an old AutoCAD version.

@wavypringles I refer the WBLOCK method too, but in DXFOUT command you skipped a few steps...

And HELP inside the program offers this too
